Privacy Policy
Short version: your calculator inputs never leave your device, because there is nowhere for them to go.

Overview
This policy explains what happens to data when you use NineClip Build (build.nineclip.com). The core fact is architectural rather than promissory: the site is a collection of static files with no backend, no database and no user accounts. Everything a calculator does happens inside your browser. There is no server here that could receive your inputs even if we wanted it to.
What we do not collect
- Your calculator inputs. Plot area, budget, quality tier, city, quantities — computed locally, never transmitted.
- Your results. Generated in the page and discarded when you close the tab.
- Accounts or profiles. There is no signup, no login, no user record.
- Files. Nothing here asks you to upload one.
What is stored on your device
Two small things, both local to your browser and both removable by clearing your browser data:
- Theme preference — a single value (
nc-theme) remembering whether you chose light or dark mode. - An offline cache — a service worker stores pages and assets so the site loads fast and works on a poor connection. It caches our own public pages only.
We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own.
Shareable result links
Calculator pages write your inputs into the page's own web address (for example ?area=1000&tier=standard) so you can bookmark or share an exact estimate. This happens entirely in your browser. Be aware that if you share such a link, whatever you entered is visible in it — that is the point of the feature, but worth knowing before you paste one into a group chat.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served from Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical connection data — your IP address, the page requested, your browser's user-agent — to deliver the page and protect against attacks and abuse. We do not maintain our own access logs and do not build profiles from Cloudflare's. Cloudflare's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which calculators people use and where pages fail them, in aggregate. Analytics never sees the values you type into a calculator, because those are never transmitted anywhere.
Advertising
We currently show no advertising at all — no ad scripts are loaded on any page. We intend to introduce Google AdSense once the site has an established audience. When that happens this section will be updated before the first ad appears, and it will say plainly that third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. Advertising will always be labelled, never disguised as calculator output, and will never influence a published rate or formula.
External links
We cite our sources, which means we link out to government schedules, price indices, manufacturer lists and trade publications. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we have no control over them. Following a citation takes you off this site.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and equivalent laws elsewhere such as the GDPR and CCPA, you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data an organisation holds about you. In our case there is effectively nothing to exercise them against: we hold no accounts, no contact database and no record of your use of the site. If you email us, we keep that email in order to reply to it; ask us to delete it and we will.

Children
These are general-purpose construction planning tools, not directed at children, and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone — children included.
Changes to this policy
If the site's data practices change — most likely when advertising or analytics is switched on — this page will be updated before the change goes live, with a new "last updated" date at the top. We do not backdate.
