Contact Us
Corrections, local rate knowledge, calculator requests, bugs — all of it is welcome.
Email us
One address reaches us for everything: [email protected].
We have no contact form, no phone line and no chat widget. That is deliberate — this site has no backend at all, which is the same reason your calculator inputs are never uploaded anywhere. Email keeps it honest.
What to include
- A wrong or stale rate. Tell us the material, your city, the price you are actually seeing, and where it came from (a dealer quote, an invoice, a published list). This is the most useful message you can send — see our Corrections Policy for what happens next.
- A calculator request. Describe the decision you are trying to make, not just the formula. Knowing why you need it usually changes what we build.
- A bug. The calculator name, your browser and device, what you entered and what it did. If the URL in your address bar has your inputs in it, paste the whole URL — it reproduces your exact case.
- A disagreement with our method. If you think an assumption or thumb rule is wrong, say which one and what it should be. Our Calculation Methodology page publishes every one of them precisely so they can be argued with.
Local rate knowledge
Material prices in India vary enormously by district, and no amount of desk research beats someone who bought the material last week. If you are a contractor, engineer, dealer or self-builder willing to confirm what things actually cost in your area, please write in. Verified local knowledge is recorded as a source in its own right and lifts a city's rates to our highest confidence level.
Response times
This is a small, independent project, not a support desk. We read every message and aim to reply within a few working days. Corrections to a published number jump the queue — those we act on as fast as we can verify them.
Press and partnerships
For anything else — citing our data, syndication, or a partnership proposal — use the same address and say what you have in mind. Note that we do not accept paid placements, sponsored rates or guest posts of any kind, and that policy is not negotiable.
